Each time the book moved from the real world to the game world, or vice versa I would find myself a little upset at the switch, but then i get engrossed in the one we swapped to, and get upset when we leave that one too.
It took me a little bit to get used to Laurie’s voice and style, but it settled in nicely, and Im a big fan of the little things like voices over a radio sounding a little distorted.
Also I am happy to see a litrpg-ish book clocking in at over 10 hours. i see so many 6 and 7 hours ones that i have a hard time really getting into before they are just over.
Overall looking forward to book 2
