Jeff Hays was splendid, but that is really a foregone conclusion at this point.

The book was an experience in splendid story telling. William does an excellent job of holding a reader’s attention throughout. Both with interesting dialogue and a firm grip over the nuances of philosophical dilemmas. While I’m not sold on the LitRPG genre yet, I find his story telling sufficient in holding my attention.

My one note is that he has a habit of creating characters that are a bit similar to characters in his previous books. However, if you’re a new reader of Arand’s books, I imagine that this is not something that will matter.
