I thought this story would be in the quick read category, with enough interesting story to get the characters from point A to point B, but was blown away by then dealing with their point A to point B plot, and moving on to pick up the thread of still more events from Hunter’s story, and lend a hand to some of those characters on their way back to Razor’s homeworld.

There was some interesting world building, and the central characters were well developed and played… I particularly enjoyed a human nurse at the base in Chicago telling the Aliens that her husband could teach them a thing or two about women. Some not only laugh out loud moments, but also some solid sincere and relatable moments.

As with the previous story, I enjoyed the ride with Razor and Kali, and ended wanting more both in a general sense, but also specifically for Razor’s second in command who stayed in Chicago, among others.
