Although this book doesn’t exactly end in a cliffhanger, the story is definitely unfinished. It’s a fairly formulaic post-apocalyptic story with prepared protagonists facing stereotypical challenges. It’s sufficiently engaging for me to want to continue reviewing this series. It doesn’t hurt that Kevin Pierce delivers his customary excellent performance.
