The story and narration were good but the story wasn’t really about surviving or dealing with an apocalyptic situation. It seemed more like a story of surviving a localized natural disaster; forest fire gone wild. The situation wasn’t global, so it didn’t seem apocalyptic. Otherwise, the story was good. I am familiar with Kevin Pierce’s narrations and he did well. I will eventually check out the first book in the series.
