This was an Okay first in series. I enjoyed the overall core story but I think it got overshadowed by the insta-love story. In my opinion there needed to be more focus on the demon hunting and hunters stories and less about the instant attraction between Devon and Cassie. In this case I think the narrator saved the story. If I had been reading I would have skimmed through alot but the narrator did such a great job bringing the characters to life that I listened from start to finish. I would give book 2 a try on hopes that the story balances out
