The first 3 audio books had a narrator that I just adored (Andrea Parsneau) as the voice of Maddie, so initially, I wasn’t sure I’d like this “new voice” even though it was the voice of a different character… Now though, I think it was a brilliant decision to have a new narrator! Akillia was a complete noob (I completely relate), and she has to work hard at building alliances between characters, players and animals and of course surviving the game in all it’s glitchy glory…
Akillia’s Reign is the fourth tale in this series, but since it deals with a separate story line, you can read it out of sequence and not screw up the first 3 stories for yourself! There are ties to books 1-3 so I expect you’ll want to, no… Need to read them after you finish this one!
