Everything Jeff Hayes has narrated in the GameLit RPG genre has been a hit for me. He has apparently been receiving some quality stories from solid authors, but he is great at performing the tales.
In this case, William Arand has created a fascinating world where, at least in one city, the heroes have been defeated. Now, fallen heroes are being sold as slaves, magically bound to their owners. One fairly unremarkable guy with a weak power happens upon some fallen heroes in a business transaction he was completely confounded by. He quickly realizes that the superheroes are assets that benefit him uniquely, and goes on to ambitions previously considered mere dreams.

This story is highly entertaining. As mentioned, Jeff Hayes does a great job narrating it. Sadly, he is not the narrator for the second book. Because of that I’m not sure if I am going to continue the series.
