The cover and the description make it seem like this is a book detailing the story of the Amish schoolhouse murders. I was disappointed that the entire book wasn’t dedicated to that particular incident. The profiling and details of the investigation must be fascinating. Unfortunately, that’s the subject of just the 1st short story. The rest of the book is a random sampling of short true crime stories. Some were interesting and some weren’t. I found the writing rather tedious. The reader is pretty good. I can’t say I’d recommend it.
