I love cozy mysteries and I couldn’t pass up the chance to read this one. The blurb had me hooked before I even started to listen.
Love the characters, the corgi Watson is my favorite, there’s a big personality in that little body. There’s quite a quirky set of characters in this town, I can’t wait to see what happens with them in future books. Speaking of the town, that aspect of the book is well done as well, I loved all the descriptions of the shops and the area in general.
The mystery is not obvious, I was left to keep guessing as more and more information is revealed.
Perfect for when you want something light, quirky and well written.
The narration is excellent, Angie Hickman is becoming one of my favorite narrators especially for this fun style of book, the character voices and the delivery make the whole story come alive.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.
