I always enjoy Leslie’s books and this one is no exception. I love learning about other places and Italy is one place I’d love to visit. Her characters are strong and willful. Luciana is a great character that has just been hit by tragedy and been given a difficult task of raising her niece.
Narration is well done and brings the story to life.
Gianpierre is a complex man with big dreams and no room for love. His interactions with her niece were heartwarming and sweet. I always enjoy the HEA conclusions Leslie North can expertly weave in her stories.
