Second chance romances are definitely one of my guilty pleasures and Terry Towers did not disappoint with this one. The chemistry between Violet and Devon can be felt even before you know Devon is her high school sweetheart. The twist that broke the couple up originally is not so much shocking, but appalling knowing how it hurt the two involved. The reconciliation and disposal of Violet’s ex boss is very satisfying, the book being both a fun and hot listen!
Sarah Puckett does an amazing job with the Alabama accent. I loved her cadence as well as the ability t separate the characters. Always good when it is easy to tell who is speaking without question. Her voice is pleasant and very easy to listen to.
