What an unexpected journey this 80+ hour omnibus took me on. This book has it all from exceptional world building with a large cast of unique characters and magic, to “ancient” rock and roll music references throughout, and a narrator that brings it all to life.
Narrator – this is one of the few narrators that I will search for the narrator and read the book because he is that good.
My only criticism and the reason for the 4 rating on the story was a very awkward transition from the end of one of the first books to the beginning of the next one. It felt like a chapter was needed to more smoothly link the two together.
If you are like me and prefer to get your money’s worth for a credit, this book certainly fills the bill!
