It took me a bit to get into this story as the narrator sounds a bit like google’s text to speech in the beginning, but it gets better along the way. I’m glad I stuck with it because the story is absolutely worth it.
We are following the survivor of a shot down space ship as he tries to figure out what is going on on the planed he crashed. He is accompanied by his worksuit, a personal carrier and a shuttle craft which all contain AI’s and therefore become characters in the story. There seems to be something going on behind the scenes which our protagonist is oblivious to, but which makes the story all the more intriguing and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
