This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning. It was very funny and creative. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I particularly enjoyed the descriptions of the demons and other creatures. I didn’t read the first book in this series first. However, I didn’t feel lost in this one or like I missed something. The author did a very good job of explaining some things without giving away too much.
The narrator did an excellent job as well. I really enjoyed his performance and he really brought the story to life. I haven’t listened to any books by this narrator or author before. After reading this book, I looked up other works that they have done and plan on getting more of them.
