I typically enjoy an apocalypse story, no matter how you slice it. But I particularly enjoy an apocalypse story involving an EMP – it just feels so chillingly real that I can’t quite help but to start looking around for ways that I could personally survive an EMP! If your horror content isn’t scaring you into action, perhaps it isn’t scary enough 😉
Kevin Pierce is one of the best authors I’ve listened to on Audible – he always delivers a flawless performance, without fail. And he does in this one as well! Our four unlikely protagonists must band together to stay alive in the new world – a world without power, cell phones or any of the other modern technology we all depend to heavily on today. “Days of Panic” was an excellent start to an apocalyptic series that I intend on continuing to follow!
