The premise is extremely I, and the characters engaging. The ending promises an epic second book. Can’t wait!
Jeff Hays is fantastic as usual, and each character’s voice is unique and fits perfectly.
You really must enjoy the tedium of settlement building and systems though. It is heavy in this book.
