Perdition, the last book in The Days of Noah trilogy, is fast-paced and will keep you hooked from the first page. This is definitely one of my favorite series, that I can listen to over and over. The focus is in the events of the end times, as described in the Bible. However, as Mark Goodwin states in his afterword, the timing of the rapture doesn’t line up with any of the predicted timelines as he feels it’s something that should be taught from study rather than fiction. Other than that, the events in the book are taken from scripture, which the author places before each chapter. It’s a very entertaining, as well as instructive read. The characters are well thought out and depicted which gave me the feeling that I was listening to friends rather than a story. Kevin Pierce does an excellent job narrating with feeling and voice, which enhanced the feeling of reality.
