Having no background on this author or series, I was thoroughly (and pleasantly surprised) by the creativity in this RPG style narrative. The perspective was a twist in itself, painting the world through the lens of such a delightfully portrayed (albeit horrible) creature. The sheer chaos was a good bit of fun throughout the story, and the characters were both colorful and witty.
Overall I absolutely enjoyed this. Will be listening to the next installation immediately!
