Would you consider the audio edition of Space Team: The Wrath of Vajazzle to be better than the print version?
pace Team: The Wrath of Vajazzle by Barry J. Hutchison is book two but can be read without having to have read book one first. It is a crazy, weird, bizarre, and fun book that must have been written while on drugs or the reader needs to be while reading! This is one of the strangest books I have read but somehow I liked it! What does that say about me? It had all kinds of crazy creatures, a goofy but loveable (sort of) human, equally not likable but likable companions on the ship, and a robot that is the strangest robot I have ever hear of. Their adventure is even stranger. Some of this book I smiled at, some I just groaned, other parts I smirked, and others I just shook my head. I did enjoy it. The narration was ok but forced I think to try to make it better but I think it was good on its own. I think the narration took something away. Not sure what would have been better but I don’t think the narration fit all the way. It was just “ok”. I was given the audio to listen/read and the review was voluntary. I enjoyed the book itself and probably would have enjoyed it more just reading it.
What aspect of Phil Thron’s performance would you have changed?
Sounds like he is trying too hard to make it funny.
