This book is based in the universe created for Space Team and although I highly recommend listening to Space Team because, well, frankly it’s great, you don’t have to be that familiar with the Space Team universe to enjoy this book.
That being said, it’s a great story coupled with great narration. I could honestly listen to Phil Thron reading the iTunes terms of service and be entertained. It just helps that he’s given a story that is hilarious and ridiculous, and yet thrilling and suspenseful at the same time. Sure there are some cliche bits to it but they’re all given their own spin and uniqueness and it just works. Give it a try, if you’ve not listened to Space Team yet, you probably will want to after this one.
