pros: interesting story, somewhat novel approach to the litrpg genre. Hays is great as always.
cons: the reading off of stats at the end of chapters has always irked me in this genre, so nothing surprising there. The main character’s backstory with his parents is laid on really thick, to the point of believability and making other characters 1 dimensional evil.
other than that, I’ve enjoyed it.
