I enjoyed the first 2 books in this series, however it quickly went downhill with this one. Increasingly racist, insulting stereotypes the author is clearly a conservative. I don’t have a problem with that but he’s just plain insulting at times. The characters and story are interesting enough, but the relentless moral preaching while the characters go around stealing and killing I find incredibly ironic. I love post apocalyptic books. But skip this series. It’s not worth the credits. The only redeeming thing about this is the narrator Kevin Pierce. He’s a great narrator and the whole reason I tried this horrible series.
