Whomever was the audio producer of this book needs to be fired. Over 1000 titles in my library and this is the first book I ever refunded. Whomever thought putting the most annoying sound in human history as a transition between what, paragraphs? The sound does not even align with chapters (sectors) or plot lines. No other book I have ever read has an annoying sound like this one. If audible re-releases the book with a new audio producer without the most irritating sound ever, I will happily re-buy it. Yes, the sound is THAT bad. Yes, I challenge anyone to find another book that has that sound in it.
It is such an infuriating way to ruin what felt like a great book that I am no longer buying any books with the same audio staff.
