Jeff Hayes as always delivers on the narration. A lot of what he does keeps me interested in the book.

The story itself is a good fun story that takes a different perspective, that from the monsters perspective. I found myself laughing multiple times throughout. There are a few that’s an interesting angle/perspective. Also the story moves along at a reasonable pace. There are also some suggestions to skip ahead if you don’t like to hear a characters stats.

That said, this book is not gonna rock your world. This is no Dune or LOTR or Dungeon Crawler Carl. Still there is some possibility that this can turn into something very cool. These books have laid out an interesting world on which to go deeper into (the dungeon). I kind of feel this is more aimed at a younger audience.

For a single credit, this is an outstanding value to have a light fun adventure.
