This was a well thought out story. There was once or twice I did feel lost or confused but quickly managed to get back into the story. The author does a great job of weaving in conspiracy theories and a grand unified conspiracy to keep the public knowledge minimal at best. I think the best part of this story is when the characters, who were very well developed finally start to figure out what is going on. It was just like a light switch was turned on through the entire book. Very well done and this brought the emotions of each character to a new level. Just imagine what you thought is fiction becomes reality, that is what they are dealing with. There is a lot of thrills, twists and turns which will seriously keep you guessing. I was unaware that this was a series but you could actually read this as a stand alone… but let’s be serious who is going to do that? There is an ending that will leave you wanting more. The narration of this story is simply excellent and makes it easy to listen to. It was my first listen by Andrew Tell and he uses subtle pauses, inflection changes and many other things to make the story come alive. There is a wide range of characters and his distinct voices made each unique. I am going to be on the lookout for the second audiobook. This gave me just the right amount of conspiracy. This has aliens, conspiracy, underground bases and scripture weaved into one thrilling plotline, so what more could you ask for? A pretty good listening experience. I was provided a copy of this audiobook free of charge in exchange for an honest review via Audiobook Boom. This in no way affected my opinion of this work.
