Excellent storytelling if you love RPG’s and geek out over super flexible game blending, but you’ll need to stomach a lot of bad language and handle copious amounts of the Lord’s name in vain as well as pokes at many aspects of different faiths. Violence is a part of the game for these characters and the sexual references are pretty thick too, but actually handled well, so far. Had the GD’s and JC’s been removed and the language reduced by 2/3rds, I’d feel like I could recommend it to several of my friends, however, for now it will just have to be a guilty pleasure that requires a reduction in volume. Somebody please write like this, but with zero GDs and JCs and you’d open up to a much larger audience because the stories are excellent and a great balance between morale decisions, comedic relief, universal political maneuvering, what it means to be human and in community, and action, action, action!
