Surprisingly Addictive for a Non-Audio fan.

BookTube is obsessed with this book. Specifically the audio book, so when the opportunity had come I decided to give it a chance. I’m not a fan of audio books. I find them difficult and easily can be distracted missing crucial detail, but this was very entertaining.

The biggest surprise has to come from the narrator. For an audio experience that everyone raves about I certainly didn’t expect the narration choice to be a mix of Kronk, Captain Kirk, and John Wayne. Although it did make the comedy heightened, that way.

I don’t want to go in depth on my actual thoughts of the book but it’s a solid entry into one of my favorite pallet cleansing genres, dungeons/litrpg (light). If you haven’t had a good experience with an audiobook maybe this will do it as it did to me. Just think of it has a modern version of Hichhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
