What I at first thought would be fan fiction, was blown out of the water by this gigantic trip down a wormhole to a new and exciting world of serialised space opera of an epic scale, coupled with cosy story-telling. Masterful prose, engaging characters coupled with an outstanding narrator fully emersed in the story has left me wanting more… as all good series should!
