I was given this free review-copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
First off, I wanted to say that Andrew Tell is a marvelous narrator, so I expected that I was in for a treat, and he did not disappoint!
A story which features a book as a prop is one of my favorite tropes… and this book simply fueled my addiction.
What if you wrote a bestselling SciFi book, and then found out that everything you wrote… everything you had imagined in your head was actual reality? Covert government operations, almost-aliens, and everything, all of it was real… and now you’re a wanted man, labeled a whistleblower and possible terrorist!
It’s a bit horrific, but not gratuitously so, and somewhat graphic… just so you know!
Ya gotta get the book if you want to know more!
