The story bounces from one set of characters to another without pause, causing slight confusion. Over the top descriptions of just about everything….constantly. Characters making choices that make no sense. Characters having thoughts that make no sense. Oh and Ottawa is the capital city of Canada….so the constant talk of the drilling incident in Ottawa….makes zero sense. I cannot finish this series. It’s the first of hundreds of books that I am walking away from. B+ for an interesting subject but a D- on execution.
