This book is definitely intense and graphic but never in a way that feels graphic just for shock value sake, it always adds to the story and goes along with what is happening. The story itself is so interesting and if you want to get a feel for it I’d highly recommend listening to Feed The Pig on The NoSleep Podcast (same author and there’s a scene in the book that is also in that story, from a different perspective). The story is brutal and unforgiving and exactly what I wanted from it, the violence and horror and lore are all amazing. If you like brutal horror this is definitely the book for you!
