I honestly do not listen to Westerns because I have difficulty visualizing the setting. So for about half the book I was not into the story. It felt like it was 80% western and just enough LitRPG to make it into the genre. But then the main character shows there is much more to his ability and the possibilities of others. I very much enjoyed the second half and looking forward to more of Elemental Gunslinger. The audio performance was pretty darn good. The main problem I had with it was sometimes the secondary character voices would slip into what I perceived as a pirate voice. Over all 4 ✨⭐ s
