The short version is nothing really happens. 91 hours and nothing unexpected happens. Every character does exactly what you would expect them to if they never learned or changed. They just become more concentrated versions of themselves. Any time anyone challenges them to stop being the way they are, they just figure out to keep being the way they are either more cleverly or more stubbornly.
And one of the characters is basically a serial killer for hire. At some point around Mission 4 you stop caring who he kills or why because you can’t keep track, and none of the murders matters anyway.
i literally stopped paying attention more than a dozen times and found that I could pick right back up without having to go back.
Also magic in this series becomes less powerful if you break an oath, so why not just have all the wizards vow to follow the convocation’s rules to keep fewer wizards from becoming dark?
The narrator has great vocal quality, but something about his voice often made me lose attention. maybe not enough variance in tone.
