Stands out among EMP thrillers for its scientific take as the catalyst versus a global enemy.

I’m a long haul trucker, so I consume a ton of audio content. There are ALOT of post apocalyptic thrillers out there and I’ve listened to many, but this one was unique and enjoyable due to the fact that it was a solar storm that threw the USA into chaos instead of one of our many perceived enemies.

Also the authors choice of setting; marine vessels in the South East was intriguing and added even more depth to the well worn sub-genre.

I enjoyed the characters and am a big fan of the narrator, Kevin Pearce. I’ll buy a book solely on the strength of his fantastic narration!
