30 minute discussion of the potential encounter, 30 minutes of tedious internal discussion of every action, 5 minutes of action.

How can over half the book focus on fighting the possessed so slowly and tediously. The previous book he didn’t fear them at all and now he’s way stronger and yet he’s now way more cautious.

I’m amazed at how there can be so little story progression and yet he still manages to level and grow.
