As my first dive into romantic comedy books, this book was easy to imagine as a movie. Some of the plot points were predictable, while there was one surprise right at the end. It’s hard for me to believe love stories, but Amy Hutchins’ narration made me feel what Ellie was feeling and imagine life through her eyes. I would’ve preferred if the entire book was narrated by Amy, but understand the need for the male perspective. I’m not sure if I’ll be picking up another rom-com any time soon, but this was a good step outside my comfort zone and an easy listen.
