This has been my favorite relationship in this series. However I think the 2nd story had better pacing. It felt like once the initial challenge was through in this book the author was trying to fill space. There was also a random set of characters that fixed issues way too easily without much back story or reason (too convenient). Maybe they come from an adjacent book series or world? That being said, I love that this couple was 100% consentual from start to finish. And that we had a female character who may not have been overly physically capable but was strong in her own right. Glad they got their happily ever after. On to the next!
