As someone who lives in the vicinity of this story, these characters were unrealistic. I’m torn about reading the next book. I love post apocalypse fiction and want to see what the author portrays in my own backyard, but I don’t like any of the characters. I not even invested in the story. Kevin Pierce as the narrator is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.
