Just finished book 1 in the series. This is a great read for enjoyable low-key listening. The storyline is unique enough to be somewhat original, and the development and action are paced at solid pace to eep you engaged. I also appreciate that the author didn’t resort to filling it with gratuitous attempts at shock value—while still having plenty of excitement to get the pulse pounding a bit. This is a well-written and entertaining LitRPG. Primarily plot driven, but the characters are likable and developed enough to keep you engaged if you’re more of a character focused fan. Going to purchase #2 now!
