One review I saw said something to the effect of this being like a cross between Monty Python and Mad Max. Whomever wrote that is painfully unfamiliar with Monty Python. After 25 chapters, there were a few rim-shot moments, however, there was nothing at all humorous about those first 25. A great deal of the plot is telegraphed, so when certain things happen, you kind of know ahead of time who those things will turn out.
If you enjoy bland stories, with ridiculous characters, and a sheer absence of humor where there is said to be some, THIS is your book!
If not…go find something good.
I just couldn’t do it. I could NOT make my ears or brain suffer any longer than those 25 chapters.
