badass combat, with badass decks by badass gangsters!
MC is believable and has depth.
the world is well thought out and works for the story.
the supporting cast is not just surface deep (mostly).
the plot is a little predictable, but I don’t mind because the writing is so damned good.
SBT means quality and this is no exception.
great performance by everyone.
if you are in the mood for some morally grey gangster doing his thing, I highly recommend this book
