Angie Hickman did a good job of narrating the first three novels, but this one was difficult because she had so much dialogue from a toddler. It was annoying. I think I might have enjoyed reading this book better because listening to a baby talk is tedious.

The author took too long to get to the point. Most of the book consists of the author telling us how the characters FEEL. I found this tedious so I hit the 30 second advance way too much. I did not like that the plot action was still unresolved at 10 minutes to go. The ending was too abrupt for my taste.

I thought the way the investigation progressed was really odd. There is a twist at the end that resolved this, but that is part of the reason why the plot took so long to resolve. Others might like this, but I find the tension right to the end hard for my anxious nature to deal with. I am still going to listen to the other books because I really want to know how the catch the bad guy. I like the the books are clean. I am very picky about books. At least these are clean.
