I really enjoyed this one. It is a different taken on Lit RPG by changing the perspective that we expect. I was confused initially by the healing system but then pleasantly surprised by its stinginess. The book kept me surprised and often off balance but in a good way and by the end, I had just given in to the book’s path. I was not sorry for the surrender.
This book was extremely well narrated by Andrea Parsneau.
