Everyone starts out annoying, but knowing G&G’s work, I hung on through the first curve and the story gained pace, fun, complications, and depth (despite their frivolous premises, G&G’s stories can be gleefully profound.)

The characters were fun & distinctive, the relationships & motivations convincing, and the reader was good & had fun with it. The final set piece went completely over the top, and maybe only G&G could be that shameless and get away with it, but they sure had tons of fun with “deus ex machina”.

Great entertainment value!
