The change from a scrawny kid who resents his lack of magic to a heroic tycoon is not what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised! The pacing is perfect in that we find out bits and pieced of the world’s history without being on the wrong end of a lore firehose. The characters all have personality and their own ambitions without the world revolving around the MC. The MC is not a complete nobody but he does have to overcome his own limitations and find out more about his own abilities without becoming a target. If you’re looking for a hero LitRPG, I strongly suggest grabbing this. The performances are fantastic, which has become the standard for Soundbooth Theater!
