Andrew Van Wey’s writing fits into cozy little corner between Clive Barker’s imaginative prose & Stephen King’s authentic characters.
Head Like a Hole isn’t an overly original tale. Nor is does it possess earthshattering twists.
That said, I loved every minute of it. The pacing & cliffhanger chapters forced me to keep listening.
An outstanding performance by Tom Jordan brought to life the characters without getting in the way of the story. He is the perfect narrator to draw you into a tale without distracting you from the details.
