When a book is free you have to wonder why and in this case it’s the poor writing style. I’m guessing English isn’t the first language for the author and it shows in the word choice, lack of editing, etc. The story is okay, has some issues with the plot and characters, but when the writing isn’t up to par it detracts from the listening experience.
