this story could have ended in so many ways but the way that it ended was a let down. I absolutely loved how this author went from the point of view of each of the main characters. so three books and three different characters views. that was fantastic and the first two books I was very anticipating this last one thing it is going to be fantastic, unfortunately my anticipation was let down quite a bit. the lack of substance in this one was the cake and the lackluster ending was the topping in the candles on the cake. no matter what the narrator Joel Leslie is and has always been on top of it to keep it rolling so you’re willing to listen to it to the end. I’m sorry I couldn’t have been more disappointed with this book series. I assure you to anyone who has been waiting for this series final book you’re going to be let down on this one. it is very rare that I’m giving a review on a book that I enjoyed the first part of the series but was let down at the very last one. I don’t know what this author was thinking but what I do know is that they weren’t giving a lot of effort into this book. Again I’m just disappointed and it’s not just because I didn’t like the ending or that it didn’t go away I thought it was going to go. it just wasn’t thought out enough and there wasn’t anything there to enjoy.
