More cringe than entertainment.

Where do I start?

1. There is no character growth. Only stat sheet growth.

2.There is no real dialogue. Just pop culture references only 40 year old geeks can be expected to understand.

3. The writing is clearly PG young adult extreme white knight with 8th grader syndrome. Which makes no sense, considering the 30-40 year old demographic for literally all the dialogue.

4. MC is a Bard. Narrator is good at his job but is NOT a singer, and the parody lyrics are awful.. Painful to listen to.

I really hopes the rough writing in the fort book was going to get better, but it just got worse. I won’t continue this series in the future. Getting to the end of this book took willpower for me.
